Tango Argentino classes and milonga in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

Tango classes for beginners and intermediates every Monday in St James’s Reformed Church, Newcastle, NE1 8JF. (Free parking in a car park to the back of the Church after 7pm.)

Next tango class is on Monday 9th February, 2026, at 7pm.

Each monday we have beginners/improvers class from 7-8pm, and intermediates from 8-9pm, followed by a milonga from 9-11pm.

There is no need to bring a partner, and for the beginners/improvers monthly classes we will try to balance the classes in terms of leaders and followers as well as we can.

We encourage beginners to attend regularly to ensure we all progress. 

The classes for intermediates are always drop-in classes.

Beginners/Improvers: 7-8pm each Monday (£32 for a block of four classes)

Intermediates: 8-9pm each Monday, drop in classes  (£9 each class)

Milonga each Monday from 9-11pm.

Milonga: £4 (included with class)
